Dr Richard CHUA

 
 
Dr Richard Chua have been a Consultant Neurologist at Sunway Medical Center since 2008.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Queen’s University of Belfast in 1994 and received all his undergraduate training in a variety of hospitals in Northern Ireland, UK.

In 1998, he was awarded with a Post Graduate MRCP. Following a 6 months stint as a resident medical officer in neurology, he decided to specialise in this area.

He then spent 3 years as a neurology registrar and research registrar in the Department of Neurology and Telemedicine, Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. In 2002 he left the UK and completed a full training program in neurology at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore. In 2005 he became a consultant neurologist in the Department of Neurology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Dr Richard Chua is registered as a Consultant Neurologist in the National Specialist Register (no 125414) and a life member of the Malaysian Society of Neuroscience.
